I very recently downloaded the latest version of Ninite Pro (no real version number that I can find, just a fresh download), and I have both Flash Player and Flash Player (IE) as options. Then script something that checks if the product is installed, and compares the version, to the current product available online. Then figure out how to script each product for a silent install that says no to all crapware toolbars. You write something that goes and tracks down the actual download for each product. The big thing here is, you could write it yourself. of Adobe and CCleaner 'don't want to be included cause they can't monetize it' becomes a non-issue. Now if someone made a software tool that would write out a powershell or batch script to a) download the installers b) install them silently and c) log the installation success - so it's more or less human readable/open source - that I would trust and pay for. While it sounds like a great idea, it should have been someone's pet project and released for free or a direct license to the developer model - the fact that they went the whole 'silicon valley' route and got investors to start this 'company' means it's only a matter of time before those people want a return on their investment - and I'm willing to bet that will be in the form of other bundled crapware or statistics being sold out the back door. Why do I need an app, paid for by a bunch of dot-com incubator and angel money, to install other apps for me? I can script that myself in batch or powershell.
